APD Dumfries played Langholm in their first game in the new National 20/20 competition on Monday night. They played Langholm away in the Murgitroyd Borders 20/20 and won by 9 wickets chasing 67. Chris McCutcheon and Richard Rennie figured with 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Scott Beveridge thumped 43 not out for a comfortable win. The side now move on to the semi-final. Old Crocks give young guns a good running
21 05 2008The annual game between the past and present members of Dumfries Men’s Hockey Club was played last week at the town’s KGV Park.
