APD Dumfries sank bottom placed Edinburgh on Saturday in their National League Division 2 encounter at Nunholm by seven wickets. The wet August meant a wicket that was dry in places but also wet where the inescapable rain had flowed under the covers. It also meant advantage Dumfries when they won the toss and bowled first.
