After the Running Club Christmas Handicap run on Sunday the 18th a challenge football match took place a Nunholm between the Running Club and the Cricket Club.
The runners came out narrow victors over the cricketers by four goals to three.

Dumfries Tennis Club have successfully completed their first block of indoor classes and will continue into 2012.
The club will continue at Max High Academy sports hall to run mini-tennis red & orange classes.
Running on Saturday’s and starting on January 14th they will run for 10 weeks, classes will take place from the new times of 10am to 11am and then from 11am to 12pm and these will be pay as you play sessions.

The winning entry will become a key part of the tennis clubs branding and will be featured on the tennis section webpage and on our upcoming new branded sports clothing.
