The numbers drawn on Friday for the Sports Club February Tote were 17 and 6. There was no winner this month and there is a roll over to the March draw. March tickets can be purchased at the bar or you can now also enter for the whole of the membership year. Just ask.

Squash: Bridge of Allan Masters titles
19 02 2012Following-up on 4 titles at the East Masters in January, the Squash Club continued its winning ways this weekend at Bridge of Allan’s Central Masters and Nunholm players won 4 titles (the O40, O45, O75 and LO35 by Frank Ellis, Jimmy Wells, Davy Rogan and Sue Strachan, respectively), were runners-up in four (the O45, O50, O70 and LO50 by Ronnie Carter, Robin Ridley, Abbie Robertson and Faith Sinclair, respectively) and the O55 Plate, Raymond Kirk.

13 02 2012The Dumfries Sports Club Membership Week for 2012/13 takes place at the end of the month and is the opportunity to renew for this year or join the Sports Club as a new member.
Memberships can be arranged at the following times in the clubhouse at Nunholm.

Effective immediately, you can now top-up your account using the XML 2010 on-line court booking system.
Log-in to your account and click on the button “Topup with PayPal” in the top-right corner.
Choose the amount you wish to top-up (£20, £30, £40, £50 or £100) then follow the instructions to pay with your PayPal account, your Credit card or Debit Card. Your top-up will be credited within one hour, and normally within 10 minutes.

Squash: Inaugural Scottish Racketball Open at Nunholm
31 01 2012I am pleased and proud to announce that The Club has secured the inaugural Scottish Open Racketball Championships from Scottish Squash & Racketball. The event will be held over the weekend of 28-29th April 2012.
The Scottish Open is open to all players in the UK and will be a UK Racketball-sanctioned event and as such participants will gain UK National Racketball Ranking Points.
Ray Currie has secured a major sponsor for the Scottish Open in Pathfinder Park Homes, who also are the major sponsor of our South of Scotland Masters in November.
We are seeking further sponsors for this prestigious tournament. If any members (or their employers) are interested in becoming sponsors please contact me initially.
