The draw for the knockout stages of this year’s Scottish Cup sees Dumfries men’s team play host to fellow South of Scotland team Prestwick on Saturday 1st June with a 1pm start.
The Ayrshire team beat Stewarton and Ayr LTC to reach the national knock-out stage whilst Dumfries received a bye into the knock-out stage as no other D&G club entered the event.
In the ladies event neighbours Dalbeattie face a long drive to Aberdeen to face Cults.
The first round ties will be played a week on Saturday (1st June) with the finals at Craiglockhart on Sunday 23rd June.

Dumfries Tennis Club will be running an American (mixed) doubles event on Sunday 28th April from 12pm to 2pm or there abouts. This will be part of a series of American tournaments which are designed to be a bit of fun with a small competitive edge. There will be 5 or 6 events over the summer, depending on weather, with an overall winner after the last event. You can choose to play 1 event, 2 events or as many as you want to. The more you play and the more you win then the better chance you have of winning the trophy.
