Squash: End of Season Dance – Sat 24th March

The Squash End-of-Season Dance takes place on Saturday 24th March and will feature a live band, Full Tilt, and the Dumfries Squash Club awards ceremony.

Social: Nunholm’s Got Talent

The first ever Nunholm’s Got Talent is in prospect in midsummer with a proposed date of Saturday 23rd June. So the club is looking for singers or acts. Like the show, no talent is necessary.

Xmas Football Challenge

After the Running Club Christmas Handicap run on Sunday the 18th a challenge football match took place a Nunholm between the Running Club and the Cricket Club.

The runners came out narrow victors over the cricketers by four goals to three.

Hogmanay Party – those who may be interested in holding a family-oriented Hogmanay Party at the Club can also put their name down on the club notice-board.

Sports Club Tote – the club tote continues this month with a rollover with tickets costing £1 each. All you have to do is select two numbers and if they are drawn you will win this month’s guaranteed prize of £170 (shared if multiple winners). Tickets now available from the Bar and this month’s draw is on Friday 30th December.

Sports Club Tote starts this month

A new Sports Club tote commences this month with tickets costing £1 each. All you have to do is select two numbers and if they are drawn you will win this month’s guaranteed prize of £100 (shared if multiple winners). If no-one wins the October draw, the prize fund rolls over into November’s draw. The draw for all monthly Totes will be made at 8pm on the last Friday of each month with the winners announced here on the Sports Club website.

Tickets now available from the Bar. All proceeeds raised go to support the Sports Club.

Dumfries Cricket Club Annual Dinner and Awards

Saturday, October 22nd
Dinner – Casa Mia, Nunholm Road, 6pm for 6:30
Awards – 2011 Club Awards, 8:30pm (at the Clubhouse)
Music and Disco till late, 9pm (at the Clubhouse)

Cost – £20 a ticket (purchased in advance) (£22 on the night)

To purchase tickets in advance leave an envelope behind the bar with the amount for the required number of tickets and addressed to the Dumfries CC Treasurer.
