Membership

The Sports Club offers several categories of membership which are described below. New members can join at any time of year and pay for the remaining months. See the information below or contact the Membership Secretary for further details.

Membership Categories for 2024/25

The below rates exclude the cost of the fob, which is a non-recurring charge and refundable upon return. New members should add £4.00 per fob.

Subscriptions are due from 1st March each year and can be paid from that date at the Clubhouse or via a Bank Transfer.

*Pro-rata fees will apply for NEW MEMBERS joining during the membership year which commences 1st March.

Membership fees can be paid in full by cash or cheque at the bar, BACS payment or can be paid by monthly Standing Order. Payment by Standing Order requires a deposit of the first month’s fee in advance then on the 1st of each month in advance of the next month. By paying by this method we expect all members to complete the payment in full over the 12 months or remaining months to February.

PLEASE note, from 1st March 2024, new members joining from September onwards are asked to pay the pro-rata sum in full. Existing members and new members joining prior to September can ask to pay by Standing Order.

We also offer competitive short-term memberships:

  • For temporary residents in the Dumfries area.
  • For students at university outwith Dumfries & Galloway and resident here only during university holidays.

Membership privileges

Full/Family/Couple/One Parent/Senior/Intermediate/Student/Trial/Junior Memberships give access to all the sports played at Nunholm, squash, tennis, cricket and all the club facilities including the fitness suite.

Associate Clubs Membership gives access to the showers, the bar and lounge areas for Hockey Club members and Dumfries Running Club members.

Social Membership give access to the bar and lounge areas only.
