Lister represents South of Scotland
18 08 2008The South of Scotland over 35’s Tennis Team has been selected to travel to Eastbourne over the weekend of 22nd and 24th August with the team almost exclusively coming from Dumfries & Galloway which is an excellent achievement. South of Scotland in this instance comprises Ayrshire, D&G and Borders. The team comprises Geoff Legg of Castle Douglas Tennis Club, Fraser Patterson and Brian Litster of Dalbeattie Tennis Club, Lister McKiddie of Dumfries Tennis Club and Gordon McGuigan of Western Tennis Club.
All Counties in Great Britain converge any sport to play on the hallowed grass courts and this year South of Scotland takes on Cumbria, Isle of Man and Somerset and the team will hopefully have a successful event.
