All 2015 memberships should now be renewed, anyone who hasn’t completed this by the Sunday 15th March will have their key fobs and online account deactivated. Please note if you pay after this date it may take a couple of days to reactivate your account.

Dumfries Tennis Club is running tennis camps over the Easter fortnight. These camps are open to current players and kids new to tennis.
The camps will run on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s, further details can be viewed using the link below.

Congratulations to the winners of the Dumfries Cricket Club Awards for the 2014 season which were awarded last night at the Club Dinner and the Awards presentation at Nunholm.

Announcing Club Night Changes
Club night on Mondays will be changing a little from this week onwards with the first hour from 6:15-7:15 for women only… Women’s Hour!
We hope this will encourage our female members to come along and play in the knowledge that they will be playing with other women- you can play squash or racketball it’s up to you!
From 7.15pm it will continue as normal with any player welcome.
Club nights are times to come along put your name down pay a small fee and get some good games and hopefully a bit of a laugh too!
Dumfries Squash and Racketball Club has a new name, a new Facebook page and Twitter home.
The South of Scotland over 45’s tennis team has finished second in League Division Three in the British Leagues, thereby gaining promotion. South of Scotland comprises of Dumfries and Galloway, Borders and Ayrshire. This years team had players from Dumfries and Galloway and Ayrshire. Local players, Fraser Patterson of Dalbeattie and Lister McKiddie of Dumfries Tennis Club took part. The team lost only one match against a strong Warwickshire side who were unbeaten. Otherwise, the team beat Lincolnshire 10-0, Bedfordshire 8-2, Cheshire 8-2 and Cleveland 8-2. The team looks forward to competing in League Division 2 next year in what will be an extremely high standard.

Tales from the Baseline is a history of Dumfries Tennis Club, dating back to 1880. This book has been put together by sports club member and friend of the club David Dutton.
The book is on sale from the club for £5.
