Comfortable in the end for JMS Nunholm: JMS Nunholm’s 2008 season must rank ultimately as a very successful one. The players can be pleased with their eventual creditable fifth position in Division 2 of the Western Union – a division from which they had been relegated on their previous three attempts to stay there! Annandale and APD Dumfries victorious

At the weekend APD Dumfries won their final National League Division 2 fixture at Renfrew in comfortable fashion to consolidate fourth spot in the league, one place above Renfrew. JMS Nunholm guaranteed themselves Western Union Second Division cricket next season with a home victory over Bothwell and Midweek side Annandale Insurance Select won the Sulwath Cup.
