Come Try!……RACKETBALL on 14 Nov

29 10 2010

The UK’s fastest-growing racket sport
Suitable for all ages
Have fun and get fit!

Racketball is played on a squash court with a bigger, bouncier ball and a bigger but shorter racket than those used for squash. You will run about a lot and get a really good work out – at least until you get better.

It’s a game suited to all ages and abilities, male and female, from beginners to the squash or tennis player who wants a fun alternative, and to the experienced player who wants to continue to play a slightly easier on the body but competitive sport.

With long rallies, racketball offers a fantastic aerobic workout and is a great fat burner! Many major muscle groups are used so it’s also great for shaping and toning the body. Whether you are new to the world of rebound racket sports, or an experienced squash or tennis player, you are guaranteed to enjoy racketball.

Free “Taster” sessions at Dumfries Squash Club
On Sunday 14th Nov 2-5pm

Come along and see what the racket is all about! Rally up your friends, and give it a try – it’s indoors so no need to worry about inclement or cold weather.

All equipment is provided, all you need to bring is a pair of trainers (not black-soled please) and plenty of energy.

We’ll even throw in a bit of coaching of the basics if you need it.

Places are limited. View the poster here.

E-mail us at info@dumfriessquashclub.co.uk or call the Club on 01387 252527 to register a reserved place, or just turn up on the day although you may have to wait.
