Davy Douglas of Backswing views the new court 2 advertising
The newly refurbished Blue court 2 at Dumfries Sports Club now has a new tin sponsor. Backswing, the main agent for Karakal Rackets and Equipment for Dumfries and Galloway and operated by Davy Douglas, are now the principal advertisers on Court 2.
Davy, who is a long-standing member of the club and was heavily involved on the Nunholm Squash Club committee for many years as secretary, was delighted with the new court tin.
He said: “The continuing improvements of the courts are a credit to the hard work of the present squash club committee. The squash playing members of the club have given Backswing tremendous support over the years. So in return it is nice to be able to give something back to the club with sponsorship of the new Court 2 tin.” Read the rest of this entry »
The annual paintballing session takes place this year on Sunday the 26 October from 12 to 4pm. The event is run by cricket sponsors Garrison Paintball and the cricket section and takes place at Roys Wood, Steilston, near Newtonairds, D&G. The cost is a special price of £25 and people can sign up themselves, or as a group, at the bar or contact Chris McCutcheon.
